There are so many wonderful facial moisturizers, cleansers and serums out there and it can definitely be overwhelming when you’re looking for the right ones that’ll suit your needs and wants. That’s why I’ve saved you the difficult task if finding which work best and have rounded up The Best Facial Beauty Products From My Sephora haul for you!
I have totally been of those people that walks into Sephora { or any other beauty market} and stands there staring at the walls of never ending products, promising to solve all of my problems and questioning which ones will really work.
There are a few ways you can avoid being this person.
Now of course, with the beauty of the internet, you can quickly access reviews to see if these products are really capable of doing what they say they’ll do. So before you head on out to pick up some supplies make sure you do a little research first so you can save yourself some of the regret later! And reading posts like this from me , is a great place to start too!
So for my facial must-have haul, I did a little research on sephora.com before going in person to buy what I wanted. I know it sounds weird, why not just make it simpler and ask the salespeople there for their suggestions or help right? Well, I am also one of those people that doesn’t really want to talk to salespeople in stores lol I just love going in, knowing exactly what I want, and getting out with no fuss!
Sephora’s website reviews are setup really well to give you the details you’re looking, for example the reviews can show the person reviewing the product’s skin type info, age and what not, so you can be more sure whether or not you’ll get the same results as they did.
For my shopping trip, the essentials I needed and also wanted, was a new serum to try, a new moisturizer to try, and re-stocking of two moisturizes that were already tried and true for me, and lastly a re-stock of one of my favorite makeup removers! So, really the research I had to do was on the new moisturizer I was looking for and a new serum, but as it turns out everything on my list were and are top rated products loved by many with different skin types!
Here’s what I got!
- Fresh® ‘Rose’ Hydrating Face Serum • Fresh • $55 // This lovely product not only smells absolutely fabulous but seems to actually work during the short time I have been using it. This product is all about boosting one’s radiance, instantly hydrating skin, while being age-defying as well. If your new to adding a serum to your everyday makeup regime, put it one before your moisturizers and before your foundation to achieve the best results.
2. Clinique ‘Take the Day Off’ Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes & Lips • Clinique • $9.50–18.50 // This product is actually one that I am re-stocking. I don’t only just use one kind of makeup remover, it usually depends on the mood that I’m in. For example. sometimes I’ll just use the makeup remover wipes if I’m feeling tired and just want to grab something quick but the Clinique makeup remover I always find myself gravitating towards and re-buying because it works effortlessly and I also love the way that it feels on my skin.
I have really dry skin so I like to moisturize a lot.
I’ve never really had any major breaking out kind of issues with products that some people who have sensitive skin, tend to have. So I really do think it’s saying something about a product that i’ll come across and that will actually start giving me zits!! But not to worry about any of that when it comes to this face moisturizer because I can stand by and say it’s top rated for a reason!
4.Origins GinZing Energy boosting moisturizer 1.7 oz (50 ml) • $26.50 //
This moisturizer was one that I was actually trying for the first time. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this brand, Origins, and I actually have a really good face cleanser from them that is my absolute favorite cleanser.
I tend to put this moisturizer on in the morning, either after washing my face or just getting up to help jump-start my day. You don’t have to use it only in the morning or day, you can at night two but this is my personal preference. It also smells absolutely wonderful, very citrusy. This moisturizer contains panax ginseng and coffee bean, which are known to be skin-boosters, to jumpstart hydration levels in the skin. It’s a gel-based moisturizer which is great for summer time because with it being gel-based you can expect to be oil residue free! So far I have absolutely no complains, and I think this is one i’ll definitely keep restocking.
5. Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing & Brightening Cream • Korres • $38 // This is another product that I chose to restock up on. The scent is to-die-for!! It’s an absolutely lovely, rose scent. This moisturizer is a bit on the thicker side but it seems to absorb in my skin rather quickly. I personally put this on before bed instead of during the day like some others do with this product, but sometimes I will also put this on before makeup as well. It really does give my skin a nice glow! The jars a bit small but you’ll find that you really don’t need to use that much on your face. A little bit goes a long way!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my tutorial! I have more to share from my latest finds at Sephora soon so stay tuned for that and lastly, have an absolutely lovely day! Muah!
